Our Strategic Research Fields

Research project by S’LAB in partnership with the Digital Lab

Sustainable IT covers a range of practices aimed at reducing the negative impact of digital technologies on the environment and society. At a time when businesses are seeking to accelerate their transition to a sustainable model, Sustainable IT offers an essential strategic framework to guide their actions.
By identifying and analyzing emerging practices and innovations, scientific research can provide companies with valuable advice to guide their digital strategies and investments. Research also provides an opportunity to assess the real impact of digital responsibility initiatives on companies’ economic, environmental and social performance.

Thanks to the support of the Walloon Region, we are in a position to launch a scientific research project on this very theme to explore the issue in greater depth. So that such a project can fully benefit the players in the Walloon economy and be directly connected to their realities on the ground, we include private co-funding partners who will play an active part in its development.

Sustainable IT Project kick-off – October 9, 2024
