The S’LAB also works closely with the ULiège Sustainable Development Unit (Cellule institutionnelle du Développement Durable (CiDD)), an operational body created in 2019. It has been coordinated since June 2023 by a Sustainability Officer: Sophie Blain. The Unit has a cross-functional role within ULiège in developing and implementing the Institution’s transition strategy. It participates in the identification, design, application, monitoring and reporting of actions and initiatives in favour of sustainable development within the University, in close collaboration with the academic authorities, faculties, administrations and members of the University community. It acts as an internal intermediary between the authorities, faculties and administrations, and as an external link between the Institution and its partners.
